SeaWorld Orlando’s Bands, Brew & BBQ will go on as scheduled this weekend, despite losing about a dozen artists who cancelled in reaction to fan outcry surrounding the documentary film “Blackfish,” which criticizes the theme park’s treatment of killer whales.

With most of the festival’s original lineup gone, Bands, Brew & BBQ instead kicks off with performances by Alan Jackson and Kid Rock.

  • Sunday, Feb. 2 at 4 p.m.Kid Rock

As of Wednesday, those were the only two musicians listed as SeaWorld tries to rebuild its lineup for the six-week festival.

Nine musical acts pulled out their scheduled gigs at SeaWorld, and another three cancelled shows at the same festival at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay, all either mentioning the “Blackfish” directly or citing “recent controversy.”
